History
Kita-Sanjūyo-Jō Station opened on 16 March 1978 on the Sapporo Municipal Subway's Namboku Line, in conjunction with the line's extension from the northern terminus at Asabu south to Kita-Nijūyo-Jō. Located in the Kita ward of Sapporo, the station serves a mixed residential and commercial corridor along National Route 5 and Route 274; it carries the station number N02 and remains an intermediate stop within the Namboku Line's northern section. There is no surface station building, only subway-style ingress points along the road, and the station has continued in the same configuration since opening.
