The station sits beside the western yard used by Tōhō Line rolling stock, and during peak-hour periods Tōhō Line empty-stock movements can be observed running between this station and Nishi-Jūitchōme. The Nishi-28-chōme bus terminal adjacent to the station opened on 1 May 1981.
