Nishi 8-chōme Stop (SC02) is on the Sapporo Streetcar Ichijō Line in Minami 1-jō Nishi 8-chōme, Chūō-ku, Sapporo, on the corner of Minami-1-jō-dōri and Nishi-8-chōme-dōri. It opened on 12 August 1918, was renamed Miyoshi-jinja-mae at an unrecorded date, became Nishi 8-chōme Shiritsu-byōin-dōri on 21 November 1941 and reverted to Nishi 8-chōme on 24 March 1950. A safety island was added in September 1978 (recorded as 1981 — Shōwa 56), the platform was numbered SC02 on 1 April 2015, and a regular outbound-direction first departure was added on 16 November 2016, with platforms raised in a July 2018 renovation.

Because of how the points are laid out at the western edge of Nishi 4-chōme, the outbound (west-bound) morning-rush trains that turn back at Nishi 4-chōme depart on the return run from Nishi 8-chōme — making this stop a working terminus several times each weekday morning.
