History
Fukkoshi Station opened on 20 March 1943 as a stop on the Ōminato Line in what is now Yokohama, Aomori Prefecture. With the JNR split on 1 April 1987 it came under JR East. The unstaffed stop consists of a single side platform serving a single bidirectional track, with a small rain shelter rather than a station building, and is managed from Aomori Station. JR East's eki-net QChiket service began at the station on 1 October 2024. Trains stop on local Ōminato Line services only; the rapid Shimokita service runs through without halting.

Notes
The road that runs east of the station alongside the Ōminato Line is locally known as Na-no-Hana Road for the rapeseed-flower fields that bloom along it.
