History
Fukōda Station opened on 24 April 1932 on the private Tsugaru Railway Line, which runs north from Tsugaru-Goshogawara toward Nakadomari in Aomori Prefecture. The station was suspended on 1 April 1943 and reopened on 20 May 1955. It has a single side platform serving a single bidirectional track, with no station building - only a weather shelter for waiting passengers - and remains unattended. Located 19.0 km from the line's terminus, the stop is skipped by some Tsugaru Railway services.
