History

Ōzawanai Station opened on 4 October 1930 on the private Tsugaru Railway Line in what is now Nakadomari, Aomori Prefecture. The station building was reconstructed in 1967 and the stop has long been unstaffed. The platform layout is a single ground-level side platform along a single bidirectional track, located 17.7 km from the line's terminus at Goshogawara. The Ōzawanai reservoir lies just beyond the station, a feature shared with the local agricultural pattern that the line was built to serve.

Notes

The station building was rebuilt in 1967, more than three decades after the station first opened.
