History
Hidariseki Station opened on 1959-11-25 as a stop on the Japanese National Railways Tsugaru Line, in what is now the city of Aomori. JR East took over operations at the 1987-04-01 privatisation. The unattended station has a single side platform with no station building, only a weather shelter, and serves a single bidirectional track at the right-hand side facing Aomori. It is managed remotely from Aomori Station and stands 13.1 km from the line's terminus there. Eki-net Q Chiket service began on 2024-10-01. Recorded daily ridership was 39 passengers in fiscal 2004; later figures have not been disclosed.
