History

Undōkōenmae Station opened on September 10, 1977 as part of the Kōnan Railway Kōnan Line in the city of Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture. The station, operated by the private Kōnan Railway Company, sits 2.1 kilometres from the line's northern terminus at Hirosaki and serves the Hirosaki Athletic Park and Sports Recreation Centre nearby. It consists of a single side platform serving one bi-directional track. The station building is unstaffed. Beyond its 1977 opening, the article reports no further significant rebuilds, and the station has continued to operate under Kōnan Railway since that date.
