History
Sadōri Station is an Akita Nairiku Jūkan Railway stop on the Nairiku Line in Semboku, Akita Prefecture, 67.7 kilometres from the terminus at Takanosu. It opened on 1 April 1989, the same day that the railway completed the central section of the Nairiku Line between Matsuba and Hitachinai, finally linking the formerly separate north and south halves of the route into a continuous through line. At opening the station served the village of Nishiki, since merged into the city of Semboku. The stop has remained an unattended single side-platform halt with no station building, only a small shelter on the platform itself, throughout its operating history.
