Harukiba Station is a JR East stop on the Tazawako Line in Shizukuishi, Iwate Prefecture, 18.7 kilometres from the line's terminus at Morioka. The station opened on 10 September 1964 and was absorbed into JR East on 1 April 1987 with the privatisation of the Japanese National Railways. It has a single side platform serving a single bi-directional track; there is no station building, only a weather shelter on the platform itself. The station is unattended. National Route 46 passes nearby, with the Omyojin Post Office located in the immediate surrounding area. Akita Shinkansen trains using the Tazawako Line track pass through Harukiba without stopping.
