History
Furusato-Kōen Station opened on 29 August 2002 as a station of the Aizu Railway Aizu Line in Shimogō, Fukushima, adjacent to the Ōkawa Furusato-Kōen riverside park. It is situated 32.5 kilometres from the official starting point of the line at Nishi-Wakamatsu. The station consists of a single ground-level side platform serving one bidirectional track and is unstaffed.
