History
Nakamiyori-Onsen Station opened on 9 October 1986 on the Yagan Railway's Aizu-Kinugawa Line in Nikkō, Tochigi. It originally bore the name Nakamiyori Station, and in its first years some terminating local services started and ended their runs here. With the timetable revision of 18 March 2006 it was renamed Nakamiyori-Onsen to highlight access to the small hot-spring area to the south, and the new name is reflected on signage and timetables. The unattended station sits on a single island platform built on an embankment, with the platforms connected to the station building by an underpass.
