History

Etchū-Nakamura Station is on the Toyama Chihō Railway Main Line in Namerikawa, Toyama Prefecture, 25.6 km from the line's origin at Dentetsu-Toyama. It opened on 14 December 1935 under the name Hayatsuki Station (早月駅) and was renamed to its present name Etchū-Nakamura on 23 March 1950. The station is operated by the private Toyama Chihō Railway and has a single ground-level side platform serving one bi-directional track. It is unattended and sits within a residential neighbourhood.
