History

Inariyama Station is a two-platform halt on the Shinonoi Line in the Inariyama district of Nagano, Nagano Prefecture, operated by East Japan Railway Company. It opened on 1 November 1900 and lies 62.3 km from the line's starting point at Shiojiri. The station passed from Japanese National Railways to JR East at privatisation on 1 April 1987 and remains a Kan'i itaku (simplified-commission) station with its two side platforms linked by a footbridge. In February 2025 the Shinonoi Line's newly introduced station-numbering scheme assigned it the code SN14.
