History
Fukurogura Station opened on 7 March 1971 as an unstaffed stop on the JNR Agatsuma Line in the village of Tsumagoi, Agatsuma District, Gunma. It came under the control of JR East at the 1 April 1987 privatisation, and was incorporated into the Tokyo Metropolitan Area on 1 October 2014.
