History
Yashū-Ōtsuka Station opened on 1 November 1931 on the Tobu Utsunomiya Line in what is now Ōtsuka-chō, Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture. The station sits 3.9 kilometres from the line's southern terminus at Shin-Tochigi and consists of two opposed side platforms connected to the station building by a footbridge. As part of the 17 March 2012 system-wide introduction of station numbering across all Tobu lines, it became TN-32. On 15 June 2024 the station exterior, ticket gate area, and waiting room were redecorated in "strawberry colour" and a secondary station name of "Strawberry Research Centre" was introduced.
