History
Higuchi Station opened on 14 March 1992 as a stop on the Mōka Line, operated by the third-sector Mooka Railway, located in Chikusei, Ibaraki Prefecture. The station lies 6.6 rail kilometres from the line's terminus at Shimodate. It consists of a single side platform serving traffic in both directions and is unstaffed. Average daily boardings in fiscal 2018 stood at 28 passengers. National Routes 294 and 408 pass close to the station.
