History
Sammaibashi Station opened on 19 March 1913 on the Tōbu Kiryū Line, serving what is today the city of Ōta in Gunma Prefecture. A privately operated halt from the outset, the station has remained on the Tōbu Railway network for its entire history. A new station building replaced the earlier structure in 2009, and on 17 March 2012 the station received the number TI-51 when Tōbu introduced line-wide station numbering. The single island platform connects to the road-side station building by a footbridge.
