History
Nishi-Yoshii Station, in the city of Takasaki in Gunma Prefecture, is operated by Jōshin Dentetsu on its Jōshin Line, 13.4 kilometres from the Takasaki terminus. It opened on 15 December 1971, comparatively late in the Jōshin Line's history, and was staffed until 16 March 2005 when it became unattended. The station has a single side platform serving traffic in both directions. Its surroundings are residential and include the Yoshii-Nagane post office and National Route 254.
