History
Yōdo Station opened on 25 January 1933 on the Hachikō Line in what is now the town of Yorii, Saitama, 68.4 kilometres from the line's starting point at Hachiōji. The line is operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and runs between Komagawa and Takasaki. The station became Suica-compatible in February 2002, and a replacement station building was completed in October 2012. It is unstaffed and consists of a single side platform serving one bi-directional track. Yorii Yōdo Post Office and Yodo Elementary School are within the immediate surrounding area.
