History
Higashi-Gyōda Station opened on 20 November 1932 on the Chichibu Main Line in Gyōda, Saitama, 7.3 km from Hanyū. It has a single side platform serving one bi-directional track at ground level. On 12 March 2022 the PASMO IC card was rolled out and the station was destaffed at the same time, with a simple PASMO gate and recharge machine installed.
