History
Minano Station opened on 27 October 1914 on the private Chichibu Railway Main Line in what is today the town of Minano, Saitama Prefecture, 50.8 km from the line's eastern terminus at Hanyū. On 29 January 2020 the secondary name "Hometown of the Chichibu Ondo" was added in conjunction with the local government, and on 12 March 2022 PASMO IC-card acceptance began at the same time the station was destaffed. Prior to destaffing, it had been operated under contract from Yorii Station with weekday windows of 7:00–22:10. The stop has one side platform and one island platform serving three tracks; the third is used primarily by freight working. Daily ridership averaged 529 passengers in fiscal 2019.
