History
Shōkō-Kaigisho-mae Station (F19) is a Fukui Railway Fukubu Line tram stop in Nishikida, Fukui City, on prefectural road 28 (Phoenix-dōri). The Phoenix-dōri side of the stop marks the rail/tram boundary on the Fukubu Line — the section south to Takefu-shin is the railway-classification part, while this stop is the southernmost on the tramway-classification side. It opened on 15 October 1933 as Kida-Yotsutsuji Station when the Fukubu Electric Railway extended its line from Fukui-shin (today Sekijūji-mae) to Fukui-eki-mae (today Fukui-eki Stop). The stop was moved to its current position on 1 February 2016 and renamed Shōkō-Kaigisho-mae on 27 March 2016, the same day it was promoted to a Limited Express stop.

Notes
The station name comes from the Fukui Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Shōkō-Kaigisho) immediately north of the stop. The renaming on 27 March 2016 — together with two adjacent stops being renamed and promoted to Limited Express stops the same day — was a coordinated rebranding for the line's central section.
