History
Ina-Chūō Station opened on 1983-12-22 as a station on the Saitama New Urban Transit Ina Line (New Shuttle) in Ina, Kita-Adachi-gun, Saitama. It is an elevated station with one island platform and two tracks, station code NS11. The Suica IC card became usable on 2007-03-18, and lifts entered service on 2019-03-14. On 2020-11-21, following the previous day's land readjustment under the Ina central area land-reorganisation project, the station's address was updated from Ōaza Komuro to 1-chōme Chūō. Although the station sits more or less in the geographic centre of the town of Ina, it is somewhat removed from the town's actual urban core.
