History
Higashi-Moro Station opened on 16 December 1934, the same day Tōbu Railway's predecessor inaugurated passenger service on the Ogose Line. The station has a single ground-level island platform with two tracks that allow passing service, and the section between Higashi-Moro and Bushū-Nagase is double-tracked. Elevators were installed in March 2009 alongside a dedicated barrier-free footbridge at the Bushū-Karasawa end of the platform. Platform-edge sensors and CCTV monitoring were added in 2008 ahead of the Ogose Line's switch to driver-only operation in June of that year. Station numbering on the Ogose Line was introduced on 17 March 2012, with Higashi-Moro designated TJ 45.
