History
Tozuka-angyō Station opened on 28 March 2001 in Kawaguchi, Saitama, as part of the inaugural opening of the third-sector Saitama Rapid Railway Line between Akabane-iwabuchi and Urawa-Misono. The station name combines the two adjoining district names of Tozuka and Angyō; its working title during planning was "Kawaguchi Tozuka". Most services on the line through-run southward via the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line to Meguro and continue onto the Tōkyū Meguro Line to Hiyoshi in Kanagawa Prefecture. PASMO IC card service began on 18 March 2007, and platform-edge doors are installed on the underground island platform.
