History
Kōya Station opened on 3 February 1961 on what is now the Ryūtetsu Nagareyama Line in the city of Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture, 1.7 km from the line's origin at Mabashi. The station consists of a single side platform serving a single bi-directional track, sits within a short walk of JR's Shin-Matsudo Station and the Matsudo City Hall Shinmatsudo branch, and carried around 4,590 passengers daily in fiscal 2018.
