History
Motoyama Station opened on 21 April 1955 as part of the Shin-Keisei Electric Railway, in the city of Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture. On 1 April 2025, following the absorption of Shin-Keisei Electric Railway into Keisei Electric Railway, the station was brought under Keisei operation as part of the newly named Keisei Matsudo Line, and its station numbering changed from SL08 to KS81. The station consists of two opposed side platforms with an elevated station building, and lies 8.7 km from the Matsudo terminus.
