Komuro Station opened on 8 March 1979 in the city of Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, on the Hokusō Line, operated by the third-sector Hokusō Railway. The station sits 19.8 km from the line's terminus at Keisei-Takasago and serves the Chiba New Town development.
