History
Takifudō Station opened on 26 August 1948 as a stop on the Shin-Keisei Electric Railway's Shin-Keisei Line in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture. The name was taken from the nearby Mitakisan Konzō-ji temple, popularly known as Otaki Fudōson. In February 2014 the station was assigned station number SL16 as part of the operator's system-wide numbering rollout. Following the absorption of Shin-Keisei into the parent Keisei Electric Railway, the station passed to the new Keisei Matsudo Line on 1 April 2025 and its number was changed to KS73 at the same time. The station has two opposed side platforms with an elevated station building.
