History

Mizue Station is a Toei Shinjuku Line subway stop in Edogawa City, Tokyo, designated S-19. The underground station opened on 14 September 1986 as part of the Shinjuku Line's eastward extension. It consists of a single island platform serving two tracks and is sited in a quiet residential neighbourhood. PASMO smart-card service began on 18 March 2007, and platform screen doors were activated on 9 June 2018 to improve passenger safety. The station is operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation, and connecting Keisei bus services run from the surface to nearby Koiwa, Shin-Koiwa and Kasai stations on neighbouring rail lines.
