History

Keiō-yomiuri-land Station opened on 1 April 1971 on the Keiō Sagamihara Line in what is now the city of Inagi, Tokyo, operated by Keio Corporation. It sits 3.9 kilometres from the line's eastern terminus at Chōfu and roughly 19.4 kilometres from Shinjuku in central Tokyo. The station is configured as two elevated side platforms over two tracks, with the station building tucked underneath. It serves the Yomiuriland amusement park, reached from the station by the Sky Shuttle gondola, with the cable car ride taking about five minutes to the park's gate.

Notes

The Sky Shuttle gondola — a 300-yen one-way ride from the station to the entrance of Yomiuriland — provides the main connection between the railway and the amusement park.
