Bayside Station

ベイサイド・ステーション

History

Bayside Station is on the Maihama Resort Line's Disney Resort Line in Maihama, Urayasu, Chiba, opened on 27 July 2001 — the closest station to Tokyo Disney Resort's six official hotels. Trains use a single side platform on the left of travel, with the bus terminal for the dedicated 'Disney Resort Cruiser' shuttle directly below. The station became PASMO-enabled on 14 March 2009. Previously, afternoon and night incoming trains used Bayside as their terminus before being deadheaded to Tokyo DisneySea Station. The station's design accentuates plum-colour cladding around the lighter base palette, and the unbroken roof above the tracks allows views toward the official hotels.

Notes

The dedicated 'Disney Resort Cruiser' bus terminal directly below Bayside Station runs free shuttles to all six Disney Official Hotels (Sheraton, Okura, Hilton, Grand Nikko, Tokyo Bay Maihama, and Maihama View by HULIC) — and to the Toy Story Hotel, the Fantasy Springs Hotel and Disney's own Resort Parking.
