History
Oguradai Station opened on 28 March 1988 on Line 2 of the Chiba Urban Monorail, sitting roughly 10.2 km from the line's Chiba terminus. The straddle-beam monorail is one of only a few of its type in commercial passenger service worldwide; Oguradai's two opposing side platforms run elevated above a residential street in Wakaba Ward, Chiba City. Step-free access uses lifts from street level up to the concourse on either side, and a second pair of lifts continues from the concourse to each platform. PASMO interoperability was rolled out across the system on 14 March 2009, and the toilets were converted to a Western-style fit-out in January 2023.

Notes
Oguradai is reached by two pairs of lifts in sequence: one set from street level to the concourse, another from the concourse to each platform — a deliberate step-free design for an elevated stop.
