History
Chishirodai-Kita Station opened on 28 March 1988 on Line 2 of the Chiba Urban Monorail, about 11.2 km from the line's Chiba terminus. The straddle-beam monorail is one of only a few of its type in commercial passenger service worldwide; this stop's two opposing side platforms sit elevated above a residential street in Wakaba Ward. PASMO interoperability across the network arrived on 14 March 2009, and the toilets were refurbished and converted to Western style on 6 March 2023. The neighbouring Chishirodai Station — the line's terminus — is only about 800 m further east. Step-free access uses lifts from street level to the concourse on both sides and from concourse to each platform.

Notes
Chishirodai-Kita is less than a kilometre from the Line 2 terminus at Chishirodai — close enough that the two stops are sometimes used interchangeably by passengers.
