Tokyo DisneySea Station

東京ディズニーシー・ステーション

History

Tokyo DisneySea Station is on the Maihama Resort Line's Disney Resort Line in Maihama, Urayasu, Chiba — the closest station to the Tokyo DisneySea park — opened on 27 July 2001. Trains use a single-track elevated platform with separated boarding and alighting platforms; the alighting side has a direct connection (exit only) to the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta via an overhead walkway above the park's ticket booths. Photo Spot installations on the alighting platform face DisneySea's Aquasphere centrepiece and MiraCosta's Toscana Side. The station became PASMO-enabled on 14 March 2009.

Notes

Until FY 2019 (and again in FY 2022), Tokyo DisneySea Station was the busiest stop on the entire Disney Resort Line. Although officially the station 'cannot reach outside the resort', a pedestrian path near its North Bus Terminal does in fact lead to the outer-loop road and access to Urayasu Sports Park and the Maihama Eurasia spa.
