History
Daiba Station opened on 1 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of the Yurikamome automated guideway transit line in Minato, Tokyo. It is an elevated station with a single island platform serving two tracks, numbered U 07 and located near the southern edge of Minato Ward. The station is normally unstaffed, with personnel deployed on weekends and holidays when visitor numbers to the Odaiba waterfront district peak. Surrounding development—including Fuji Television's headquarters, the Hilton Tokyo Odaiba and Grand Nikko hotels, and the Aqua City Odaiba mall—has driven its role as a tourism gateway.

Notes
Despite being unstaffed on weekdays, Daiba ranks third in daily passengers among Yurikamome stations because weekend tourism to the Odaiba waterfront concentrates traffic in narrow windows.
