History
Sakusabe Station opened on 12 June 1991 as a stop on Line 2 of the Chiba Urban Monorail, located in Inage-ku, Chiba City. The elevated station, 1.8 kilometres from the line's northern terminus at Chiba Station, has two side platforms serving two tracks and is numbered CM05. PASMO acceptance began on 14 March 2009, and a toilet renovation switching to western-style fixtures was completed in February 2019. The surrounding area is a residential and educational district anchored by Chiba University's Nishi-Chiba campus.
