History
Ryūtsū Center Station opened on 15 December 1969 as Shin-Heiwajima Station on the Tokyo Monorail Haneda Line. It was renamed to its current form, named for the adjacent Tokyo Ryūtsū (Logistics) Center, on 8 January 1972. The station was rebuilt on 23 March 1982 to add weather protection. Automatic ticket gates were installed on 26 June 1998, and Suica service began on 21 April 2002. With the timetable revision of 18 March 2007 the station became a stop for Section Rapid services. The Roman-letter signage was changed from "RYŪTSŪ SENTĀ" to "RYŪTSŪ CENTER" with the 1992 opening of Tennōzu Isle Station.
