History

Haneda Airport Terminal 1·2 Station opened on 18 November 1998 as Haneda Airport Station, the new eastern terminus of the Keikyū Airport Line beneath the airport itself. An East Exit serving Terminal 2 followed on 1 December 2004. The station was renamed Haneda Airport Domestic Terminal Station on 21 October 2010 — the same day Keikyū introduced its station numbering and a new international-terminal station opened nearby — and renamed again on 14 March 2020 when the three Haneda terminals were rebranded. Platform-edge doors entered service on 21 February 2019. Construction of a pocket track east of the station began on 8 August 2022 to lift Airport Line capacity by three trains per hour.

Notes

The station shares an arrival jingle with Shinagawa: an arrangement of Quruli's "Akai Densha" composed by band member Shigeru Kishida, first introduced here in 2005 and updated to the same audio version as Shinagawa's southbound platform on 18 November 2008.
