History

Shin Seibijō Station — literally "New Maintenance Base Station" — opened on 27 September 1993 on the Tokyo Monorail Haneda Airport Line. Suica service began on 21 April 2002. The underground station has two opposed side platforms with their concourse linked to the single ground-level exit by a 100-metre tunnel. A dedicated set of fare gates and platform-to-concourse elevators were added on 14 April 2026 to complete a barrier-free route alongside the existing elevator at the surface entrance. The station primarily serves staff of Haneda Airport's aircraft-maintenance and ramp-support facilities, with general use limited to visitors to airline-run tour programmes; only all-stations Local services stop here.

Notes

Only all-stops "Local" services stop here; Rapid and Haneda Express services pass through, since the station was essentially built to ferry airline maintenance staff to Haneda's back-of-house facilities.
