History

Kochibora Station is on the Tarumi Line in Motosu, Gifu Prefecture, 20.2 rail kilometres from the line's terminus at Ōgaki and carrying station code TR11. It opened on 15 January 1958 as a Japanese National Railways station between Mino-Motosu (today's Motosu) and Tanigumiguchi. The line was transferred to the third-sector Tarumi Railway on 6 October 1984, and the station has been operated by that company ever since. It consists of a single ground-level side platform with a small shelter; the station is unstaffed.

Notes

The area immediately around the station is a noted cherry-blossom spot along the Neo River, and crowds of viewers gather here each spring.
