History
Amaariki Station opened on 7 March 1925 on the Kominato Line in what is now Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture. The station lies 5.4 kilometres east of Goi, the western terminus of the 39.1-kilometre line, and is operated by the Kominato Railway. The station has two opposed side platforms serving a passing loop, and is one of the few stops on the line to retain a staffed ticket window. The original 1925 station building remains in use.
