History
Tagami Station opened on January 21, 1926 on the Kakamigahara Line, in the city of Gifu, Gifu Prefecture. The station and line are operated by the private railway Meitetsu (Nagoya Railroad). It sits 1.1 kilometers from the line's terminus at Meitetsu-Gifu, and has two ground-level opposed side platforms connected by a level crossing. The station is unattended. Nearby points of interest include the Gifu Velodrome and Bairin Park.
