History
Kiridoshi Station opened on 21 January 1926 on the Kakamigahara Railway. Following the same 1935 merger sequence as other Kakamigahara Line stops it became part of Meigi Railway in March and Nagoya Railroad in August. The station was destaffed on 16 February 1967, was made an express stop on 14 March 1985, and gained a new wooden station building with restored staffing on 1 April 1996. With the rollout of a station-management system on 12 December 2006 it was destaffed again and brought into the Tranpas IC system; Manaca service began on 11 February 2011 and Tranpas was discontinued on 29 February 2012.

Notes
Kiridoshi briefly regained staffing in 1996 with a purpose-built wooden station building, but the 2006 station-management rollout returned it to unstaffed operation a decade later.
