History
Kazusa-Kubo Station opened on 10 April 1933 on the Kominato Railway's Kominato Line, in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture, 22.0 kilometres from the western terminus at Goi. The station became unstaffed in 1956 and has remained so since. The ground-level station has a single side platform serving bidirectional traffic; a small rain shelter on the platform is the only structure, with no station building.

Notes
Beside the platform stands an approximately 20-metre ginkgo tree that draws photographers in autumn when its yellow foliage is lit up at night.
