History
Yanagikōji Station opened on 1 April 1920 on the Enoshima Electric Railway in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, 1.2 km from the line's terminus at Fujisawa. The station was closed on 30 June 1944 during the wartime consolidation of the Enoden network and reopened on 15 July 1950 under its original name. When station numbering was introduced across the Enoshima Electric Railway in January 2014, Yanagikōji was assigned station number EN03. The station consists of a single side platform serving one bidirectional track and remains unstaffed, with a small waiting room and the usual Enoden ticket vending machine. Fiscal-year-2019 ridership averaged about 2,714 passengers per day, the tenth-busiest of the line's fifteen stations.
