Nishi-Ichinomiya Station opened on 4 August 1914 in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, on the Meitetsu Bisai Line, 26.0 km from the line's starting point at Yatomi. The tracks at the station were elevated in 1994. The single elevated side platform serves a bi-directional track, with the station building underneath. Automated ticket machines and Manaca-compatible automated turnstiles are in place, but the station is unattended. Daily ridership averaged 348 passengers in fiscal 2013.
