History
Inamuragasaki Station opened on 1 April 1904 on what is now the Enoshima Electric Railway (Enoden) Main Line, in the Inamuragasaki district of Kamakura. The stop began as a streetcar-style halt with a single low platform and has cycled between single- and double-track configurations through its history before settling on a single island platform with a passing loop. Accessibility upgrades, including a ramp, were completed in 2017. On 17 March 2024 the station was un-staffed, ending the daytime ticket office that had operated for decades; tickets, IC fares and contactless payments are now handled at automated equipment.
