History
Komakiguchi Station opened on 11 February 1931 on what is today the Meitetsu Komaki Line, in the city of Komaki in Aichi Prefecture, 9.0 kilometres from the line's starting point at Kami-Iida. Operations were suspended during the Second World War in 1944 and only resumed on 1 May 1964, making the post-war reopening one of the most striking features of the station's timeline. The station has two opposed side platforms connected to a small unstaffed station building by a footbridge, with automated ticket machines and Manaca turnstiles. It remains a local stop within the city of Komaki, with a residential surrounding area.
